My Mood Today!

March 26, 2009

The abyss that stretched in front of him was about 8000 miles long. Though gregarious by nature; he kept walking alone, along the shore of solitude not knowing what to do. The mighty Varuna separated him from his country. The footprints in the sand, he knew would soon disintegrate just like his self doubts.

PS: My 55 word story thanks to inspiration from Solilo and Hitchwriter and Usha!!! This is hard!! When I first wrote this, it exceeded a hundred words, then I had to use “CNTRL X” a lot to reach 55 words!!

Well done! I wondered if I could ever do a 55 word story. I mean, isn’t it difficult to convey something in just a few words? Could mine be as good as OG’s? Or Solilo’s? Then I realised that it could be a story in the first person. And guess what? I just did it.

Beautiful 55 words story …but think, maybe Lord Varuna separated him from his country but the modern day sansar-jaal-setu kept him connected πŸ™‚

I find it difficult to say something in just 55 words πŸ™‚
